To accompany the release of British Feature “Jack Falls”, the writer had an additional mini-story he wanted to tell as a 6-7 minute DVD extra; in the style of a B&W graphic novel.
The Writer & Director sent me the script and I began to work on some rough storyboards. There is quite a number of different scenes in the film so began to work out what each would look like and where the cameras would be.
One of the main scenes involved a restaurant on a London street, that Sid would attack with an M60 machine gun! See WIP version of the shot to the right.

After I had made the bulk of the environments, I was sent the actors voice takes and a huge amount of sound FX to use. I began modelling the characters, using Poser of all things! Then, I loaded the individual .wav files in to animate the mouths. The lipsync and face-modelling/texturing tool was actually quite good.
The project looks a bit dated now, mainly due to the sheer amount of 3D work I had to do in a short amount of time, but I wanted to include it as it was a quite a challenge, gave me some good experience and helped improve my skills in general.
