This was my 2nd project at Studio Vega Myst in Stafford. The team was making a new website for a solicitors and needed a short explainer video to give their visitors a brief overview of their services.
We worked on a script with the client and then started drawing up storyboards of what would be appearing on the screen and how it’d animate.
I kept it inline with the companies branding and style; same fonts, blue green and white colours and animating the FontAwesome icons.
…The idea was to use a combination of kinetic text (the script itself) with graphical elements to convey the message e.g ‘Divorce and Separation’ the screen rips in half… for ‘Looking for’ a magnifying glass scans the page.

After a few sections were in place, we recorded a draft V.O, inserted it into premiere, added music and based the timings off that.
To make it more interesting, we incorporated a bit of simple 3D towards the end; namely a graph, a vault and a piggy bank.
